What does Sell On Hand do?
It turns the inventory you have on hand into a self-serve storefront. Shoppers browse and pay on their phones, stock updates when they pay, and you can follow up with people who opt in for a receipt.
What does it cost?
Standard is $5 per month and includes inventory, live selling, offline store, email receipts, email campaigns, and 2,000 emails. Card sales are 4.2% + $0.35. Branded starts at $10 per month plus a one-time setup fee (same card fees). JE with Me is a promotional branded path at $5 per month. Cash sales have no transaction fee. SMS is optional: $3 for 250 receipt texts, or $5 for 250 campaign texts. Extra email is $5 for 5,000. Photo Fill is an optional $5/mo add-on for 100 scans.
Are texts included?
Not on the base plan. Standard is email-first: receipts and campaigns go out by email, with 2,000 included each month. Vendor update texts are coming soon, once carrier registration is approved. They go only to shoppers who opt in, at checkout or per vendor in their shopper profile, and a campaign bucket ($5 for 250) covers them when usage billing ships. Receipt texts use a separate number ($3 for 250).
Do I need a card reader?
No. The customer's phone is the checkout counter. They open your page, browse live stock, and pay on their own device.
Can more than one customer check out at once?
Yes. Each shopper uses their own phone, so multiple people can browse and pay at the same time.
Can I keep using Square?
Event checkout on Sell On Hand runs through Stripe today so payment and inventory stay connected. Square as a payment rail while we remain the inventory system is on the roadmap.
Do you take a cut of my online shop?
No. Links to Shopify, corporate replicated shops, or any other online store are outbound only. Our card fee applies only to checkout we process on your Sell On Hand page.
Who's this for?
Vendors, direct sellers, pop-ups, craft markets, and anyone selling limited stock in person who needs live inventory, phone checkout, and customer follow-up in one place.
Can shoppers buy when I'm not at an event?
Sell On Hand is built for selling face to face, so there is no mail order and no postage to work out. Shoppers can order ahead from your page and collect from you, and if you already run an online shop elsewhere you can point a button at it.
Do shoppers need an account to buy?
No. Guest checkout stays available. Google sign-in is optional and unlocks loyalty: favorite stores, purchase history, and discount codes you grant them.
